- Senior Sales Representative, Chemical Market
This position will represent Mustard Tree to the Chemical and Petrochemical marketplace in North America. Mustard Tree makes real time chemical analyzers quickly telling a user what is present and how much in an uncomplicated way. This position plays an important part of an expansion plan to tap into the enormous potential of Mustard Tree products in these markets. As such the position will be highly visible and influential within Mustard Tree and the industry.
The position reports to the Chief Commercial Officer of Mustard Tree. Salary is commensurate with experience and education. Full benefits include a company car and generous commission plan with no top end.
Ideal candidate will possess 3 or more years of Chemical industry experience and an understanding of process analytics with preference given to persons enjoying a working knowledge of spectroscopy. Candidate must possess a demonstrated history of 5 or more years direct sales experience in capital equipment (CAPEX of $30,000+). Preference will be given to persons who have experience focused on establishing new products and/or markets. The ideal candidate will have 3 or more years experience using SalesForce.com or other CRM tool as a means to manage and communicate the business opportunities. Education desired is a technical degree in engineering, chemistry, or other applicable science with advanced degrees considered a plus.
Duties for the position include prospecting actively to increase the sales funnel, performing product demonstrations, creating proposals and issuing quotations for opportunities, making presentations at customer sites or through web applications, attending trade shows, and directing support for customers after the sale to insure repeat business. Must be highly motivated and self starter. This is a field based position with estimated 50% travel Candidate's location within North America is flexible, however, should have reasonable access to major airport or be located in center of major chemical industry area.
